HexGuard was born

HexGuard was born out of a desire for excellence and a commitment to delivering armor that exceeds expectations. It all began in December of 2023 when our founder embarked on a journey fueled by inspiration from conversations with military veterans – his father and his friend's father. With their insights and his passion for innovation, the concept of HexGuard took shape.

The initial version

The initial version was humble – linked squares that hinted at the potential for something greater. But armed with five essential goals – lightweight, flexible, blade-stopping, energy-absorbing, and affordable – the journey towards revolutionizing protective gear began.

Research revealed a gap

Research revealed a gap in the market. Existing options fell short, failing to meet all five crucial criteria. Determined to bridge this gap, our founder embarked on a mission to create armor that surpassed anything available.

The road to success

The road to success was paved with challenges. The first prototype faltered, unable to withstand even the force of an airsoft pistol. But failure only fueled determination. Each setback was a lesson, each test a valuable insight.

Now we're onto V6

V6 – slimmer, stronger, and more resilient. It's a significant leap forward. Having only 22mm of BFD when shot with 6 very concentrated 9mm +P rounds at 5 yards, it’s quite a leap forward. While still being 3d printed, this armor is proving to work exceptionally well.

Though the bulletproof armor is still in development, we are now selling an Airsoft armor. Crafted with precision and engineered for performance, our armor stands as a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence.
